Welcome!

Welcome to the official Region 2 website. Alpha Phi Omega is the national, co-educational, service fraternity that sets the standard for campus-based volunteerism. Since 1925, Alpha Phi Omega has made a positive difference in the lives of college women and men and has helped to improve the quality of life for individuals in need. Nearly 300,000 students have been initiated into Alpha Phi Omega since our founding and our current Membership exceeds 17,000 students at approximately 350 colleges and universities. If you would like to learn more about the organization itself, please visit the national Alpha Phi Omega website.

Alpha Phi Omega in the United States of America is made up of chapters which are groups of individuals attending specific institutions of higher learning. Chapters are grouped together into sections representing either a state or portion thereof. Sections are grouped together into regions (there are presently eleven regions in the United States of America). Region 2 includes Sections 87, 88, 89, 90, 91 and 92 and covers all of Delaware; all counties of New York including and to the northwest of Dutchess, Sullivan and Ulster; and all counties of Pennsylvania including and to the east of Bedford, Blair, Centre, Clinton and Potter.

Official Notice of Legislation

The following e-mail was sent by Executive Director Bob London regarding legislation at the 2008 National Convention. For more information about the convention, or to register please visit http://convention.apo.org.

Brothers,

This e-mail will serve as official notice as required in Article XIII, Section 2 of our National Bylaws, Procedures For Amendment, that no corrections were received for any of the legislation that was submitted for our 40th Biennial National Convention.

This will be posted on our website and an e-mail will be sent to ever chapter. If the Regional Directors could also make this announcement on the Regional Websites it would be appreciated.

If you have not registered for Convention yet, please do so soon, as we are very quickly approaching the early registration deadline (11/10/08). Also, our Alumni Sunday luncheon only has a handful of spaces available before the event will be sold out. If you have any questions please let me know.

Fraternally,
Bob London
